వలసజీవుల విషాదాంతం

వలస కార్మికుల ప్రాణాలు పోతున్నాయి....ఆకలితో లేదా ప్రయాణంతో.... వలస కార్మికుల కోసం రైళ్ళు నడుపుతున్నామని ప్రభుత్వాలు చెబుతున్న మాటల్లో డొల్లతనం బైటపెడుతున్నాయి వలస కార్మికుల మరణాలు. దేసవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న కోట్లాడి మంది వలస కార్మికుల కోసం...ఏదో పేరుకు నడుపుతున్న రైళ్ళు సరిపోవన్న విషయం ప్రభుత్వాలకూ తెలుసు. రైళ్ళు నడుపుతున్నామని ప్రభుత్వాలు మాటలు చెబుతున్న సమయంలోనే... వేలాది కిలోమీటర్లు నడిచివెళ్తున్న కార్మికులు... రైలు పట్టాలపై ప్రాణాలు పోగొట్టుకున్న 16 మంది కార్మికులు...పాలకుల మాటల్లోని డొల్లతనాన్ని వెక్కిరిస్తున్నాయి. సైకిల్ మీద బయలు దేరిన ఓ కార్మికుడి కుటుంభాన్ని వాహనం గుద్దడంతో భార్య భర్తలు ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయి ఇద్దరు చిన్నారులు చావుతో పోరాడుతున్న సంఘటన ఈ దేశపు దుర్మార్గపు పాలకుల నీతిని ఎండగడుతోంది.

చత్తీస్ గడ్ కు చెందిన కృష్ణ‌, అత‌ని భార్య ప్ర‌మీల ఉపాధి నిమిత్తం ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్ లోని ల‌క్నో‌కు వ‌ల‌స వచ్చి అక్కడి జాన్కీపుర మురికివాడ‌లో నివ‌సిస్తున్నారు. వీరికి నాలుగేండ్ల కూతురు చాందినితోపాటు మూడేండ్ల కొడుకు నిఖిల్ ఉన్నారు. కరోనా లాక్ డౌన్ కారణంగా చేయడానికి పని లేదు...తినడానికి తిండి లేదు... స్వంత ఊరికి పోదామంటే దారి లేదు...గ‌త నెల‌న్న‌ర రోజులుగా ఆకలి బాధలు పడి పడీ ఇక‌ పిల్లల ఆకలి బాధ చూడలేని భార్యాభర్తలు ఎలాగైనా స్వంత ఊరికి వెళ్ళిపోదామనే నిర్ణయానికి వచ్చి సైకిల్ పై బయలుదేరారు. అట్లా కొంత దూరం వేళ్ళారో లేదో సుశాంత్ గోల్ఫ్ సిటీ పోలీసు స్టేషన్ పరిధిలోని ష‌హీద్ పాత్ వ‌ద్ద ఓ గుర్తు తెలియ‌ని వాహ‌నం వేగంగా వ‌చ్చి వీరి సైకిల్‌ను ఢీ కొట్టింది. సైకిల్ తునా తునకలైంది. భార్యా భర్తలు కృష్ణ‌, ప్ర‌మీలలు అక్కడికక్కడే చనిపోయారు. తీవ్ర గాయాలపాలై కొట్టుకుంటున్న ఇద్దరు పిల్లలను స్థానికులు చూసి లోహియా ఆస్పత్రిలో చేర్పించారు. అనాదలైపోయిన చిన్నారులు చాందిని,నిఖిల్ లు ఆస్పత్రిలో చావుతో పోరాడుతున్నారు.
