యాంటీ వైరల్ థెరపీలో భాగంగా కరోనా రోగులకు ఇంటర్ ఫెరాన్ బీటా-1బీతో పాటు లోపినవివర్-రిటోనవిర్, రైబావిరిన్ ఔషధాలను ఇచ్చినట్టయితే శరీరంలో వైరస్ ల సంఖ్య గణనీయంగా తగ్గిపోయినట్టు పరిశోధకులు తెలిపారు. కేవలం లోపినవిర్-రిటోనవిర్ మాత్రమే ఇచ్చినప్పుడు ఏమంత సమర్థంగా పనిచేయలేదని, ఇతర యాంటీ వైరల్ మందులు కూడా జతచేసినప్పుడు ఫలితాలు ఆశాజనకంగా వచ్చాయని హాంకాంగ్ యూనివర్సిటీకి చెందిన ఆ పరిశోధకులు వివరించారు.
