జర పాత చెప్పులుంటే ఇవ్వున్రి బాంచెన్ !

"ఖానా తో మిల్ జాయెగా సాహిబ్.. ఏక్ పురాణి చప్పల్ దేదో" అని తిలోకి కుమార్ (32) తన కాళ్ళనుండి కారుతున్న రక్తాన్ని చూపించాడు. ఆ కాళ్ళు మొత్తం పుండులాగా ఉన్నాయి. ఇది ఇక తిలోక్ కుమా ర్ పరిస్థితే కాదు...దేశంలో పట్టణాల నుండి పల్లెలకు వెళ్తున్న అన్ని రోడ్లు ఇప్పుడు వలస కూలీల నెత్తురుతో తడుస్తున్నాయి. దేశంలో పాము మెలికల్లాగా తిరిగే నల్లని విశాలమైన రోడ్లన్నీ ఇప్పుడు వలస కూలీల ఆకలి కథలు...నెత్తురు కథలే వినిపిస్తున్నాయి. అలాంటి కథే తిలోకి కుమార్ ది.

ఆయనది ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రం గోరఖ్ పూర్ జిల్లా లోని పిప్రైచ్ అనే ఊరు. బతుకు తెరువు కోసం గుజరాత్ లోని సూరత్ వెళ్ళాడు. సూరత్‌లోని వస్త్ర విభాగంలో పనిచేస్తున్నాడు. ʹʹనేను శ్రామిక్ రైలు కోసం రిజిస్ట్రేషన్ చేసుకున్నాను. ఒక వారంపాటు వేచి ఉన్నాను. ఎవరూ పిలవలేదు. ఇక వేరే మార్గం లేక ఇంటికి నడిచి వెళ్ళాలని నిర్ణయించుకున్నాము. తెలియని ప్రదేశంలో కంటే ఇంట్లో చనిపోవడం మంచిది కదా ʹʹ అని అన్నారు తిలోకి కుమార్.

రాజస్తాన్ నుండు ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్ బార్డర్ కు రాక ముందే ఆయన చెప్పులు తెగిపోయాయి, పనికి రాకుండా అయిపోయాయి. "నేను చాలా దూరం నుండి చెప్పులు లేకుండా నడుస్తున్నాను నా అరి కాళ్ళనుండి రక్తస్రావం అవుతున్నాయి. నేను ఇంకా 300 కిలోమీటర్లకు పైగా నడవాలిʹʹ అని అన్నారు కుమార్. ఈ బృందంలోని మరో వలస కూలీ ఠాకూర్ మాట్లాడుతూ అనేక మంది మనసున్న వాళ్ళుతమకు ఆహారం, నీళ్ళు ఇస్తున్నారని, చెప్పులే ఇప్పుడు పెద్ద సమస్యగా ఉన్నాయన్నాడు. "నా షూ కింది భాగం ఊడిపోయింది. నేను దానిపై ఒక వస్త్రం కట్టాను. ఒకటి రెండు రోజులు ఆహారం లేకుండా వెళ్ళవచ్చు, కాని చెప్పులు లేకుండా నడవడం అసాధ్యంʹʹ అని అతను అన్నాడు. ఓ జర్నలిస్టు.. త్రిలోక్ కుమార్, ఠాకూర్ లకు డబ్బులివ్వడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తే ఇద్దరూ డబ్బును తిరస్కరించారు ‍ ʹʹమేము చెప్పులు ఎక్కడ కొంటాం సార్ʹʹ అన్నారు

చెప్పులు లేకుండా కాళ్ళు నెత్తుర్లు కారుతూ నడుస్తున్న ఈ వలసదారుల దుస్థితిని చూసి లక్నో శివార్లలోని ఉతరాటియాలో ఒక షూ షాపు యజమాని జత 60 రూపాయలకు చెప్పులు అమ్మాలని నిర్ణయించుకున్నాడు. మరో వైపు ఓ సీనియర్ సిటిజన్స్ బృందం స్థానిక చెప్పుల షాప్ నుండి చెప్పులు కొని లక్నో-బారాబంకి రహదారిపై నడిచి వెళ్తున్న వలస కార్మికులకు ఇస్తున్నారు. ఆ బృందం తమ పేర్లు చెప్పడానికి నిరాకరించారు. ప్రచారం కాదు ఆదుకోవడమే ముఖ్యమన్నారు ఆ వృద్దులు.

మరో వైపు ప్రభుత్వాలు తాము వలస కార్మికుల కోసం ఏమేం చేస్తున్నామో రోజూ ప్రచారం చేసుకుంటున్నాయి. వాళ్ళు చెబుతున్న సహాయాలు ఏ ఒక్కటీ వలస కార్మికులకు అందకపోయినా...తమ భుజాలు తామే చరుచుకుంటున్నాయి. ఈ వలస కార్మికుల శ్రమతో కోట్లకు పడ్గలెత్తిన పరిశ్రమల అధిపతులు ఈ కార్మికులు తమ స్వంత ఊర్లకు వెళ్ళకుండా బలవంతంగా ఆపే మార్గాల గురించి ప్రభుత్వాలపై ఒత్తిడి తెస్తున్నారు.
