గ్యాంగ్ స్టర్ నూ సోకిన కరోనా
పంజాబ్‌లోని క‌రుడుగ‌ట్టిన గ్యాంగ్‌స్ట‌ర్ జగ్గూ భ‌గ‌వాన్‌పూరియా(29)కు కరోనా పాజిటివ్ అని నిర్థార‌ణ అయ్యింది. ప్ర‌స్తుతం ఓ హ‌త్య‌కేసులో నిందితుడిగా పాటియాలా సెంట్రల్ జైలులో పోలీసు క‌స్ట‌డీలో ఉన్నాడు. కరోనా ల‌క్ష‌ణాల‌తో బాధ‌ప‌డుతున్న అతడికి పరీక్షలు నిర్వ‌హించ‌గా కోవిడ్ సోకిన‌ట్లు తేలింది. దీంతో అప్ర‌మ‌త్త‌మైన యంత్రాంగం.. జ‌గ్గూని క‌లిసిన వారిని క్వారంటైన్ చేసింది. ఇంట‌రాగేట్ చేసే క్ర‌మంలో డీఎస్పీ స్థాయి అధికారుల‌తో సహా ప‌లువురు జ‌గ్గూని క‌లిసిన వారిలో ఉన్న‌ట్లు తేల‌డంతో వారంద‌రికి పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించి క్వారంటైన్‌లో ఉంచారు.
అయితే జైల్లో ప్ర‌త్యేక సెల్‌లో క‌ట్టుదిట్ట‌మైన భ‌ద్ర‌త మ‌ధ్య జ‌గ్గూకి కరోనా ఎలా సోకింద‌నే విషయం ఇంకా తెలియ‌రాలేదు. అయితే కరోనా వ్యాప్తి నివార‌ణ చ‌ర్య‌ల్లో భాగంగా పాటియాలా జైలు నుంచి కొంత‌మంది ఖైదీల‌ను బ‌టాలా జైలుకు త‌ర‌లించారు. వారిలో జగ్గూ కూడా ఒక‌రు. ఈ క్ర‌మంలోనే అత‌నికి కరోనా సోకిందేమోన‌ని ప్రాథ‌మికంగా అంచ‌నా వేస్తున్నారు. గత ఏడాది న‌వంబ‌ర్‌లో అకాళీద‌ల్‌ నాయ‌కుడు, సర్పంచ్ హ‌త్య కేసులో జగ్గూ ప్రధాన నిందితుడిగా ఉన్నాడు. అతడిపై 22 హ‌త్య‌కేసులు సహా 41 క్రిమిన‌ల్ కేసులు ఉన్నట్టు పంజాబ్ పోలీసు ఉన్న‌తాధికారి ఒక‌రు పేర్కొన్నారు.
