మనం స్పెయిన్, ఇటలీ సరసన చేరుతామా?

కరోనా కట్టడి కోసం విధించిన లాక్ డౌన్ కొనసాగుతోంది. ఏకంగా మూడుసార్లు లాక్ డౌన్ విధించినా కరోనా వ్యాప్తి తగ్గడం లేదు. తగ్గకపోగా.. తీవ్ర స్థాయిలో విజృంభిస్తోంది. పాజిటివ్ కేసులు రోజురోజుకు పెరుగుతూ 60 వేలకు చేరాయి. ఆదివారం వరకు పాజిటివ్ కేసులు దాదాపు 63 వేలకు చేరువయ్యాయి. పరిస్థితి ఇలాగే ఉంటే మే నెలాఖరు వరకు దాదాపు 2 లక్షల వరకు కేసులు చేరవచ్చని తెలుస్తోంది. దీంతో త్వరలోనే భారతదేశం కూడా స్పెయిన్ – ఇటలీ దేశాల సరసన నిలబడుతోంది. ఈ మేరకు కరోనా వ్యాప్తిపై ఐఐటీ- ఢిల్లీకి చెందిన పరిశోధన బృందం అంచనా వేసింది. ఏప్రిల్ 28వ తేదీకి 30 వేలు ఉన్న కేసులు 11 రోజుల్లోనే రెట్టింపయ్యాయి. కేసుల పరంపర ఇదే స్థాయిలో ఉంటే ఈ నెలాఖరుకు పాజిటివ్ కేసులు దాదాపు రెండు లక్షలకు చేరుతాయని అంచనా వేశారు. దీంతో వీరి అధ్యయనం అధికార వర్గాలతో పాటు ప్రజలను భయాందోళన రేకెత్తేలా చేస్తోంది. దేశంలో ఇప్పటివరకు 62913 పాజిటివ్ కేసులు నమోదయ్యాయి. వీరిలో 2103 మంది మృతిచెందగా 19315 మంది కరోనా నుంచి కోలుకున్నారు. ప్రస్తుతం కరోనా బారిన పడి చికిత్స పొందుతున్నవారు 41495 మంది.

అయితే దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ప్రభుత్వ – ప్రైవేటు రంగాల్లో కలిపి మొత్తం చేసిన నిర్ధారణ పరీక్షలు 1523213. అయితే విదేశాలతో పోలిస్తే ఇది చాలా సంఖ్య అని తెలుస్తోంది. దేశంలో పెద్ద ఎత్తున పరీక్షలు చేయకపోవడంతోనే కేసులు పెరగడానికి ప్రధాన కారణంగా తెలుస్తోంది. విస్తృతంగా పరీక్షలు చేస్తే కరోనా లక్షణాలు ఉన్నవారిని ప్రాథమికంగా గుర్తించి వారిని వెంటనే ఆస్పత్రికి తరలిస్తే ఇతరులకు సోకకుండా ఉంటుందని పలు సంస్థలు – పరిశోధకులు చెబుతున్నారు. ప్రస్తుతం దేశంలో అత్యధికంగా మహారాష్ట్ర – గుజరాత్ లో కరోనా కేసులు నమోదవుతున్నాయి.

ఇప్పటికైనా కేంద్ర రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాలు స్పందించి వీలైనంత ఎక్కువగా కరోనా నిర్ధారణ పరీక్షలు చేసి కరోనాను ప్రాథమిక స్థాయిలోనే గుర్తించి కట్టడి చేయాలని విశ్వవిద్యాలయ ప్రతినిధులు – పరిశోధకులు – శాస్త్రవేత్తలు – మేధావులు సూచిస్తున్నారు. ఇప్పుడు కట్టడి చేయకపోతే పరిస్థితి చేయి దాటిపోయే ప్రమాదం ఉందని హెచ్చరిస్తున్నారు.

Positive cases have been growing by the day, reaching 60 thousand. As of Sunday, the number of positive cases had reached nearly 63,000. There were 62913 positive cases in the country so far. Of these, 2103 died and 19315 were recovered from the corona. There are currently 41495 people suffering from coronary artery disease.

However, the total number of diagnostic tests done in the public and private sectors across the country is 1523213. However, this is quite a number compared to overseas. The main reason for the increase in cases is the lack of large scale testing in the country. Many corporations and researchers say that extensive testing will initially identify those with coronary symptoms and immediately transmit them to the hospital. Currently, the highest number of corona cases are reported in Maharashtra and Gujarat.

University representatives, researchers, scientists and intellectuals are urging the Central and State Governments to respond and make the corona diagnostic tests as early as possible. They warn that if the situation is not tightened, there is a risk of crossing arms.
