‘స్నేహపూర్వక కాల్పుల్లో’ 19 మంది నావికుల హతం!

ఇరాన్‌ నౌకాదళానికి చెందిన రెండు నౌకల మధ్య ‘స్నేహపూర్వక కాల్పుల్లో’ 19 మంది నావికులు చనిపోయారని, మరో 15 మంది గాయపడ్డారని నౌకాదళం తెలిపింది. ఆదివారం గల్ఫ్ ఆఫ్ ఒమన్‌లో జమారాన్ నౌక నుంచి కొత్త నౌకావిధ్వంసక క్షిపణిని పరీక్షిస్తుండగా.. అది కొనరాక్ నౌకను తాకిందని ఇరాన్ ప్రభుత్వ మీడియా చెప్పింది. హోర్ముజ్ జలసంధిలో శిక్షణా విన్యాసాలు చేస్తున్నపుడు ఈ ప్రమాదం జరిగింది. ఈ వ్యూహాత్మక జలమార్గంలో ఇరాన్ సాయుధ బలగాలు తరచుగా విన్యాసాలు నిర్వహిస్తుంటాయి. ఇరాన్ దక్షిణ తీరంలో ‘‘బందారే జాస్క్ జలాల్లో సైనిక విన్యాసాల సందర్భంగా నిన్న మధ్యాహ్నం కోనరాక్ నౌకను ఒక క్షిపణి ఢీకొట్టింది’’ అని ప్రభుత్వ టీవీ వెబ్‌సైట్‌లో వివరించింది. ‘‘ప్రయోగం కోసం టార్గెట్‌ను తీసుకెళ్లిన ఆ నౌక.. ఆ టార్గెట్ నుంచి తగినంత దూరం రాకపోవటంతో క్షిపణి ఆ నౌకను తాకింది’’ అని పేర్కొంది. టెహ్రాన్‌కు సుమారు 1,270 కిలోమీటర్ల దూరంలో గల్ఫ్ ఆఫ్ ఒమన్‌లో గల జాస్క్ రేవు సమీపంలో ఈ ఘటన జరిగినట్లు చెప్పింది. జమరాన్, కొనరాక్ నౌకలు.. ఇరాన్ నౌకా దళానికి చెందినవని చెప్తున్నారు.
