ఎంత పని చేసినవ్.. తల్లీ !

లాక్ డౌన్ సంక్షోభం ఓ అమ్మను తన పిల్లల హంతకురాలిగా మార్చేసింది. పిల్లలను ఎలా పోషించాలో తెలియని అయోమయంలో ఆ తల్లి క్షణికావేశంలో తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయం ముక్కుపచ్చలారని ఐదుగురు చిన్నారులను ఆయువు తీరకుండానే తనువు చాలించేలా చేసింది. వివరాలు ఇలా ఉన్నాయి.

ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రంలోని భదోహి జిల్లా పరిధిలో ఉన్న జహంగీరాబాద్ గ్రామంలో మృదుల్ యాదవ్, మంజు యాదవ్ దంపతులు తమ ఐదుగురు పిల్లలు శివశంకర్(6), కేశవ్ ప్రసాద్(3), ఆర్తి(11), సరస్వతి(7), మాతేశ్వరి(5)తో కలిసి కూలీనాలీ చేస్తూ జీవించేవారు. కేంద్రం ఒక్కసారిగా అమలు చేస్తున్న లాక్ డౌన్ ముందే కష్టాల నడుమ బతుకీడుస్తున్న ఈ కుటుంబాన్ని మరింత కుంగదీసింది. ఈ కష్టకాలంలో పిల్లలను పోషించడం తమ వల్ల కాదని భావించిన మంజు యాదవ్ ఐదుగురు చిన్నారులతో కలిసి ఆదివారం అర్ధరాత్రి జహంగీరాబాద్ గ్రామ శివారులో ఉన్న గంగానది ఒడ్డుకు చేరుకుంది. ఏం ఆలోచించిందో.. ఎంతసేపు ఆలోచించిందో గానీ ఆ తల్లి ఒక్కసారిగా పిల్లలు సహా నదిలోకి దూకేసింది. అయితే, మంజు యాదవుకు ఈత రావడంతో ఆమె ఈదుకుంటూ ఒడ్డుకు సురక్షితంగా చేరుకోగా, ఐదుగురు పిల్లలు మాత్రం నీటమునిగి చనిపోయారు. పోలీసులు కేసు నమోదు చేసి దర్యాప్తు చేస్తున్నట్లు స్థానిక సమాజ్ వాదీ పార్టీ కార్యకర్త ఎస్కే యాదవ్ తెలిపారు.

Manju Yadav along with his five children reached the banks of the Ganges in the suburbs of Jahangirabad at midnight on Sunday. The mother jumped into the river once and for all. However, when Manju Yadav was swimming, she swam and safely reached the shore while five children were drowned. Local Samajwadi Party activist SK Yadav said the police had registered a case and was investigating.
