ఆర్మీ కమాండోకు ఘోర అవమానం..

కర్ణాటక రాష్ట్రంలోని బెల్గామ్ జిల్లా, చిక్కోడి తాలూకా, యాక్సమ్బా గ్రామంలో ఏకంగా ఓ ఆర్మీ కమాండోనే అత్యంత అమానవీయంగా అవమానించి అక్కడి పోలీసులు కావాల్సినంత అప్రతిష్ట మూటగట్టుకున్నారు. వివరాలు ఇలా ఉన్నాయి. యాక్సమ్బా గ్రామానికి చెందిన సచిన్ సునీల్ సావంత్ అనే యువకుడు ఆర్మీలో కోబ్రా దళ కమాండోగా దేశ సేవ చేస్తూ, సెలవుల్లో స్వగ్రామానికి వచ్చి కరోనా లాక్ డౌన్ కారణంగా గ్రామంలోనే చిక్కుకుపోయాడు. ఇతడు  మొన్న ఆదివారం తన ఇంటి ముందు బైక్ కడుగుతుండగా, స్థానిక పోలీసులు గస్తీ తిరుగుతూ జవాన్ ఇంటికి కూడా వచ్చారు. ఆ సమయంలో తన బండి కడుగుతున్న సదరు జవాన్ను పోలీసులు మాస్క్ ఎందుకు పెట్టుకోలేదని ప్రశ్నించగా, తాను ఇంటి ముందే కడుగుతున్నాను కదా అని చెప్పడమే కాకుండా, తాను అర్మీలో పని చేస్తానని కూడా చెప్పాడు.

కానీ, పోలీసులు ఇవేవీ పట్టించుకోకుండా ఆ జవానుకు బేడీలు వేసి, కనీసం చెప్పులు కూడా లేకుండా నిక్కరుపై ఊరంతా తిప్పుతూ స్టేషన్ తీసుకెళ్లారు. అక్కడ కూడా ఓ కరడుగట్టిన నేరస్తుడికి వేసినట్లు చేతులూ కాళ్లకు కలిపి బేడీలు వేసి ఖైదీలను వేసే సెల్లుకు కట్టేశారు. జవానుకు జరిగిన ఈ అవమానం గురించిన వార్త, ఫోటోలు ఇంటర్నెట్లో వైరల్ కావడంతో కర్ణాటక పోలీసుల తీరుపై నెటిజన్లు తీవ్ర ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు. బాధ్యులైన వారిపై వెంటనే కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని వారు డిమాండ్ చేస్తున్నారు.
