ఆఖరికి కూతుళ్లే అన్నీ అయ్యారు..

లాక్ డౌన్ వల్ల కరోనా ప్రభావం ఎంతగా తగ్గుతుందో తెలియదు గానీ.. దీని వల్ల పేదవారి జీవితాలు మాత్రం దినదిన గండంగా మారుతున్నాయనేది మాత్రం కాదనలేని నిజం. అసలే మానవత్వాన్ని మరిచిన మనిషి.. కరోనా భయంతో బంధాలూ బాంధవ్యాలకు దూరమవుతున్నాడు. ఈ వాక్యాలు నిజమని నిరూపించే సంఘటన ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్ లోని అలీగఢ్ లో చోటు చేసుకుంది. అలీగఢ్ కు చెందిన సంజయ్ గత కొంత కాలంగా టీబీ రోగంతో బాధపడుతున్నాడు. పేద కుటుంబానికి చెందిన సంజయ్ వైద్యం చేయించుకున్నది అంతంతమాత్రమే! ఇప్పుడు లాక్ డౌన్ వల్ల అతను ఆ కాస్త వైద్యం కూడా చేయించుకోలేక ఆదివారం తుదిశ్వాస విడిచాడు. సంజయ్ మృతి గురించి కుటుంబ సభ్యులు తమ బందువులకు సమాచారం అందించారు. కానీ వారు కరోనా భయంతో సంజయ్ ను చివరి చూపు చూడడానికి కూడా రాలేకపోయారు. దీంతో గత్యంతరం లేక అతని ఇద్దరు కూతుళ్లే అన్నీ తామై సంజయ్ అంత్యక్రియలను జరిపించారు. తండ్రి మృతదేహాన్ని కూడా పాడేపై ఉంచి ఆ ఇద్దరు అమ్మాయిలే తమ భుజాలపై మోస్తూ శ్మశానం వరకు తరలించారు. ఇద్దరు కూతుళ్లు ఏడుస్తూ తండ్రి శవాన్ని మోస్తుంటే ఇరుగుపొరుగు వారు చూస్తూ ఉండిపోయారే గానీ ఎవరూ కూడా వారికి సాయానికి రాకపోవడం గమనార్హం! కరోనా మహమ్మారి ఇంకా ఇలాంటి ఎన్ని మనస్సును ద్రవించే సంఘటనలు చూసి చల్లబడుతుందో ఆ దేవునికే తెలియాలి.
