విద్వేషపూరిత సమాచారం.. ఏబీపీలో ప్రసారం..!

వార్తలను ప్రసారం చేయడంలో తనకంటూ ఓ ప్రత్యేకతను సంపాదించుకున్న జాతీయ మీడియా సంస్థ 'ఏబీపీ న్యూస్ ఛానల్' ఇప్పుడు కేవలం ప్రభుత్వానికి కొమ్ముకాస్తూ.. ప్రజావ్యతిరేక వార్తలను, జనాల్లో విద్వేషాలను పెంచిపోషించే సమాచారాన్ని ప్రసారం చేస్తూ తన చరిత్రకు తానే మచ్చ తెచ్చుకుంటోంది. ఇందుకు మొన్న బాంద్రా రైల్వే స్టేషన్ సంఘటనే ఉదాహరణ ! అసలు విషయమేమిటంటే.. కొన్ని రోజుల కిందట "ఏబీపీ మాఝా" అనే మరాఠీ న్యూస్ ఛానెల్లో " ఏప్రిల్ 14వ తేదీ నుంచి లాక్ డౌన్ వల్ల ముంబైలో ఇరుక్కున్న ఇతర ప్రాంతాల ప్రజలను వారి వారి స్వస్థలాలకు చేర్చాలనే ఉద్దేశ్యంతో రైళ్లు నడిపించనున్నారు.." అనే వార్త ప్రసారం చేశారు. ఈ వార్త గురించి రాహుల్ కులకర్ణి అనే రిపోర్టర్ లైవ్లో మాట్లాడుతూ వివరించారు. దీంతో మొన్న 14న వందల సంఖ్యలో పేదలు ముంబై బాంద్రా రైల్వే స్టేషన్ చేరుకున్నారు. ఫలితంగా ప్రభుత్వం విధించిన లాక్ డౌన్ ఆంక్షలకు తూట్లు పడ్డాయి. ఆ సమయంలో పెద్ద ఎత్తున పోలీస్ బలగాలు అక్కడికి చేరుకొని ఇంటికి వెళ్తామనే ఆశతో స్టేషన్ వచ్చిన పేద జనాలను తమ లాఠీలకు పని చెప్పి మరీ చెదరగొట్టాల్సి వచ్చింది. ఈ గొడవంతా కేవలం ఏబీపీ మాఝా ఛానల్ ప్రసారం చేసిన తప్పుడు వార్త వల్లే జరిగింది. ఇందుకు కారణమైన ఆ ఛానల్ రిపోర్టర్ రాహుల్ కులకర్ణి ఇప్పుడు పోలీసుల అదుపులో ఉన్నాడు.

ఇదిలా ఉంటే.. తమ ఛానల్ ప్రసారం చేసిన తప్పుడు వార్త కారణంగానే బాంద్రా స్టేషన్ చేరుకున్న పేదలందరూ ముస్లింలనీ.. వారందరూ సదరు స్టేషన్ పక్కనున్న జామా మస్జిదులో నమాజ్ చేయడానికి వచ్చిన ముస్లింలని ఇదే న్యూస్ ఏబీపీ హిందీ న్యూస్ ఛానల్ మరో అసత్య వార్తను ప్రసారం చేసి, పరోక్షంగా విద్వేషాలను రెచ్చగొట్టింది. ఈ వార్త ప్రసారం సమయంలో ఈ ఛానల్ కెమెరా అక్కడెక్కడో దూరంగా ఉన్న జామా మస్జిదుపై ఫోకస్ పెట్టింది గానీ, జనాలు పోగైన స్టేషన్ రైలు పట్టాలను పట్టించుకోలేదు. దీన్నిబట్టి ఏబీపీ ఛానల్ కావాలనే ముస్లింలను టార్గెట్ చేస్తోందని స్పష్టమవుతోంది. ఏదేమైనా బాధ్యతతో కూడిన వృత్తిలో ఉన్న ఏబీపీ జర్నలిస్టులు ఇలా తప్పుడు వార్తలను ప్రసారం చేస్తూ.. మత విద్వేషాలను రెచ్చగొట్టడం ఈమధ్య కాలంలో ఎక్కువైపోయిందనే ఆరోపణలు వెల్లువెత్తుతున్నాయి.
