కరోనాకు క్యూబన్ వైద్యుల సవాల్

కరోనా వైరస్‌ ధాటికి ప్రపంచ దేశాలు చిగురుటాకులా వణుకుతున్నాయి. ఇప్పటి వరకు 186 దేశాలకు విస్తరించిన ఈ మహ్మమారిని.. ఎదర్కొనేందుకు ప్రపంచ దేశాలన్నీ ఏకమవుతున్నాయి. అయితే కరోనా బాధితులకు చికిత్స అందిస్తున్న వైద్యులకూ వైరస్‌ సోకడం ఇప్పుడు ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా తీవ్ర ఆందోళనగా మారింది. ఈ క్రమంలో అమెరికాకు కూతవేటు దూరంలో ఉన్న అతిచిన్న దేశం క్యూబా కరోనా బాధిత దేశాలకు అండగా నిలుస్తోంది. పక్కనున్న శత్రుదేశం అమెరికాను కరోనా పీడిస్తున్న తరుణంలో ఆ దేశానికి వైద్యులను పంపి ఆదుకుంటోంది. యూఎస్‌కే కాదు క్యూబా వైద్యులు నేడు ప్రపచ వ్యాప్తంగా అనేక దేశాలకు సేవలందిస్తున్నారు.

క్యూబా.. ఒక చిన్న దేశం.. మన దేశంలో ఓ జిల్లా అంత విస్తీర్ణంలో ఉంటుంది. కేవలం కోటి మంది జనాభా ఉన్న ఈ దేశం ప్రపంచంలోనే డాక్టర్ల కార్ఖానాగా వెలుగొందుతోంది. జనాభా పరంగా చూస్తే హైదరాబాద్ కంటే తక్కువ జనాభాగల దేశం. కానీ ప్రపంచంలోనే అత్యంత నాణ్యమైన వైద్యం ప్రజలందరికీ అందిస్తోంది. ఈ కరోనా కష్టకాలంలో క్యూబా వైద్యులు అనేక దేశాలకు స్వచ్ఛందంగా సేవలందిస్తున్నారు. క్యూబాపై అనేక ఆంక్షలు విధించి ఆ దేశాన్ని ఛీదరించుకునే అమెరికాలో, ఇటలీలో కరోనా వైద్య సేవల్లో క్యూబన్ డాక్టర్లు నిమగ్నమయ్యారు. కరోనా కారణంగా ఆరోగ్యం అనేది గాలిలో దీపమైపోయిన వేళ.. భవిష్యత్తు మొత్తం చీకటిగా కనిపిస్తున్న ఇలాంటి సమయంలో క్యూబా మన కళ్ల ముందు కనిపించే ఓ కాంతి రేఖ. 

విప్లవ యోధులైన చేగువేరా, ఫిడెల్ క్యాస్ట్రోల ప్రభావం అక్కడి యువతరంపై ఎక్కువ.. ముఖ్యంగా గొప్ప వైద్యుడు, మానవతావాది అయిన చేగువేరా స్ఫూర్తి క్యూబా డాక్టర్లలో కనిపిస్తుంది. దేశ సేవ అంటే మనుషులకు సేవ చేయడమేననేది క్యూబా సోషలిస్టు ప్రభుత్వం నమ్మే సిద్ధాంతం. అందుకే.. దేశం మొత్తాన్నీ కరోనా అల్లకల్లోలం చేస్తున్న వేళ.. క్యూబా అధ్యక్షుడిగా క్యాస్ట్రో మాట్లాడిన ఓ వీడియో ఇప్పుడు వైరల్ అయ్యింది. ప్రపంచానికి క్యూబా ఏం ఇస్తోందో క్యాస్ట్రో చెప్పారు. యుద్ధం చేసి ప్రాణాలు తీసే బాంబులను క్యూబా తయారు చెయ్యబోదన్న క్యాస్ట్రో.. మనుషులకు ప్రాణం పోసే డాక్టర్లను తమ దేశం తయారు చేస్తుందన్నారు. క్యాస్ట్రో చెప్పిన విధంగానే క్యూబా తనను తాను డాక్టర్ల కార్ఖానాగా నిరూపించుకుంది. ప్రపంచంలో ఎప్పుడు ఎక్కడ ఏ ఆపద వచ్చినా క్యూబా ప్రభుత్వం ఆ దేశాల సహాయార్థం భారీగా డాక్టర్ల బృందాలను పంపి స్వచ్ఛంద వైద్య సేవల్ని అందిస్తుంది. కరోనా అన్ని దేశాలనూ అతలాకుతలం చేస్తున్న వేళ.. క్యూబా డాక్టర్లు కరోనా బాధిత దేశాలకు సేవలందించేందుకు తరలివెళ్లారు. క్యూబా సోషలిస్టు భావాలంటే అమెరికా భయపడుతుంది. అందుకే.. క్యూబా అమెరికా మధ్య విపరీతమైన ఆంక్షలుంటాయి. క్యూబాను అణగదొక్కేందుకు అమెరికా చెయ్యని ప్రయత్నాల్లేవు. అలాగే ఇటలీ బ్రిటన్, జర్మనీ కూడా అవకాశం వచ్చినప్పుడల్లా క్యూబాపై ఆంక్షల అస్త్రశస్త్రాలు విసురుతూనే ఉంటారు. అవేవీ మనసులో పెట్టుకోని క్యూబా కరోనా వైద్య సేవలందించేందుకు తన దేశం నుంచి వైద్య బృందాలను పంపింది. ఇటలీలోకి క్యూబా వైద్యులు రాగానే ఇటలీ పౌరులు కరతాళ ధ్వనులతో వారికి గొప్ప స్వాగతం పలికారంటే.. అది క్యూబా వైద్యులపై ఇటలీకి ఉన్న నమ్మకానికి నిదర్శనం.

There are no American attempts to undermine Cuba. As well as Italy, Britain and Germany, Cuban embargoes continue to throw sanctions whenever possible. Unsurprisingly, the Cuban corona sent medical teams from its country to provide medical services. The arrival of Cuban doctors into Italy is a welcome addition to the rhythmic sounds of Italian citizens.
