ఇండోర్‌లోని రాణిపుర ప్రాంత ముస్లిం యువకులు దేశంలో ఇంకా మత సామరస్యం ఉందని నిరూపించారు. దక్షిణ రాణిపురలో నివాసముండే దుర్గ అనే వృద్దురాలు దీర్ఘకాలిక అనారోగ్యంతో సోమవారం మృతి చెందింది. కానీ లాక్డౌన్ పరిమితుల కారణంగా దుర్గ మరణించిందని తెలిసినా ఆమె ఇద్దరు కుమారులు తప్ప బంధువులెవరూ అంత్యక్రియలకు రాలేకపోయారు. దీంతో స్థానిక ముస్లిం యువకులే ముందుకొచ్చి ఆమె అంత్యక్రియలు నిర్వహించాలని నిర్ణయించుకున్నారు. మృతురాలు దుర్గ ఇద్దరు కొడుకులతో కలిసి ఆమె మృతదేహాన్ని శ్మశానానికి తరలించడమే కాకుండా హిందూ సంప్రదాయం ప్రకారం కర్మకాండలు నిర్వహించి మత సామరస్యానికి ప్రతీకగా నిలిచారు. ఒక హిందూ మహిళ అంత్యక్రియలు చేసిన ముస్లిం యువకులను కాలనీవాసులతోపాటు స్థానిక ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు, విషయం తెలుసుకున్న అధికారులు అభినందనలతో ముంచెత్తారు.
