ఏప్రిల్ 8న మాండ్యా జిల్లాలోని ఓ చెక్ పోస్ట్ దగ్గర ఆటోలో వచ్చిన ఈ ముగ్గురు పైన చెప్పినట్లు పోలీసులను ఒక్కసారిగా భయభ్రాంతులకు గురిచేశారు. తమను ముట్టుకుంటే పోలీసులకు కూడా సోకుతుందని బెదిరించారు. అయినా, పోలీసులు ఎలాగోలా ఆ ముగ్గురు దుండగులను అదుపులోకి తీసుకొని, తమదైన శైలిలో విచారించగా, ముగ్గురు దుండగులు కూడా హిందువులనీ, కేవలం విద్వేషాలను రెచ్చగొట్టాలనే ఉద్దేశంతోనే ఈ కుట్ర చేశారని తేలింది. ఈ ముగ్గురు దుండగుల పేర్లు "మహేష్, అభిషేక్, శ్రీనివాస్" అని కేఆర్ పెట్ తహశీల్దార్ శివమూర్తి వెల్లడించారు.
