ఐసోలేషన్ వార్డులో అత్యాచారం

ఒక వైపు దేశవ్యాప్తంగా కరోనా వైరస్ బారిన పడిన ప్రజలను నయం చేయడంలో వైద్యులు పగలూరాత్రీ ప్రాణాలకు తెగించి కృషి చేస్తుంటే, మరొక వైపు కొంతమంది వైద్యులు ఆ వృత్తికే మచ్చ తెస్తున్నారు. బిహార్ రాష్ట్రంలో ఇలాంటి వార్తలకు బలం చేకూర్చే సంఘటన ఒకటి ఆలస్యంగా వెలుగులోకి వచ్చింది.

బిహార్ లోని గయాలో ఉన్న అనుగ్రహా నారాయణ్ మెడికల్ కాలేజీలో ఏకంగా కరోనా ఐసోలేషన్ వార్డులోనే ఓ రెండు నెలల గర్భిణిపై అత్యాచారం చేసాడో దుర్మార్గపు డాక్టర్! అత్యాచారం తరువాత అధిక రక్తస్రావం కారణంగా ఆ 24 ఏళ్ల యువతీ మృత్యువాత ;పడటం శోచనీయం! బాధితురాలు కూడా మొదట ఈ సంఘటనను దాచడానికి ప్రయత్నం చేసినా, ఆ తర్వాత అసలు విషయాన్ని బయట పెట్టింది. వివరాలు ఇలా ఉన్నాయి..

లాక్డౌన్ తర్వాత మార్చి 25న పంజాబ్ రాష్ట్రంలోని లుధియానా నుండి తిరిగి వచ్చిన మహిళను గయా యొక్క అనుగ్రహ నారాయణ్ మెడికల్ కాలేజీకి తీసుకువచ్చారు. బాధితురాలు 2 నెలల గర్భవతి కావడంతో గర్భస్రావం కారణంగా ఎక్కువ రక్తస్రావం జరిగిందని తెలుస్తోంది. దీంతో ఆమె ఆరోగ్యం క్షీణించడంతో గయా హాస్పిటల్ యొక్క అత్యవసర వార్డుకు తీసుకువచ్చారు. కరోనా ఇన్ఫెక్షన్ అనుమానం కూడా రావడంతో ఆమెను ఐసోలేషన్ వార్డులో చేర్చారు. ఈ వార్డులోనే బాధితురాలిపై రోజువారీ విధులు నిర్వహించే డాక్టరే అత్యాచారం చేసాడని గయా పోలీసుల దర్యాప్తులో తేలింది.

The woman, who was returning from Ludhiana, Punjab, on March 25, was brought to Gaya's Anugraha Narayan Medical College after the lockdown. The victim is 2 months pregnant and seems to have had more bleeding due to miscarriage. This brought her to the emergency ward of Gaya Hospital with her health deteriorating. She was also admitted to the Isolation Ward after Corona infection was suspected. Gaya police investigations have revealed that the doctor, who is in charge of the day-to-day duties of the victim, was raped in the same ward.
