హిందూ-ముస్లిం ఐక్యతకు ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్ లోని బులంద్ షహర్ వాసులు ఉత్తమ ఉదాహరణగా నిలిచారు. జిల్లాలోని ఆనంద్ విహార్ ప్రాంతానికి చెందిన రవిశంకర్ శనివారం ఉదయం అకస్మాత్తుగా మరణించారు. ఈ విషయం రవిశంకర్ బంధువులకు తెలిపితే వారు లాక్డౌన్, కరోనా భయాందోళన కారణాలతో రవిశంకర్ చివరి చూపులకు కూడా  రాలేకపోయారు.

ఈ క్రమంలో రవిశంకర్ అంత్యక్రియలు ఎవరు చేయాలనే సమస్య తలెత్తింది. ఇది తెలుసుకున్న అదే ప్రాంతంలో నివసిస్తున్న ముస్లింలు రవిశంకర్ అంత్యక్రియలు జరిపించేందుకు ముందుకువచ్చారు. రవిశంకర్ మృతదేహాన్ని తమ భుజాలపై శ్మశానానికి తీసుకెళ్లడమే కాకుండా మృతుని కుటుంబానికి తలా కొంత ఆర్థిక సాయం కూడా చేశారు. పైగా మృతదేహాన్ని మోసుకెళ్తున్నప్పుడు ముస్లింలు "రామ్ నామ్ సత్య్ హయ్" అంటూ నినదించడం గమనార్హం! ముస్లింలు తీసుకున్న ఈ అంత్యక్రియల నిర్ణయంపై అన్ని వర్గాల ద్వారా సర్వత్రా హర్షాతిరేకాలు వ్యక్తమవుతున్నాయి.
