గూఢచారి "పావురం" అరెస్ట్ !

పాకిస్తాన్ గూఢచర్యం కోసం శిక్షణనిచ్చినట్లు అనుమానిస్తున్న ఒక పావురాన్ని జమ్మూకశ్మీర్‌లోని కటువా జిల్లాలో బంధించినట్లు 'ఏఎన్ఐ' వార్తా సంస్థ తెలిపింది. పాకిస్తాన్ - భారత మధ్య అంతర్జాతీయ సరిహద్దులోని కంచె సమీపంలో పట్టుకున్న ఈ పావురం కాలికి ఒక రింగ్ ఉందని, దాని మీద కొన్ని నంబర్లు ఉన్నాయని పోలీసులు చెప్పారు. ఏఎన్ఐ కథనం ప్రకారం.. కటువా జిల్లాలోని మన్యారీ గ్రామంలో స్థానికులు సోమవారం నాడు ఈ పావురాన్ని పట్టుకున్నారు. దానిని అధికారులకు అప్పగించారు.

''అది ఎక్కడి నుంచి వచ్చిందో మాకు తెలియదు. స్థానికులు మన కంచె సమీపంలో దీనిని బంధించారు. పావురం కాలికి ఒక రింగ్ ఉంది. దాని మీద కొన్ని నంబర్లు ఉన్నాయి. దర్యాప్తు చేస్తున్నాం'' అని కథువా సీనియర్ సూపరింటెండెంట్ ఆఫ్ పోలీస్ శైలేంద్ర మిశ్రా పేర్కొన్నారు. ఆ పక్షి ఎక్కడి నుంచి వచ్చింది, దాని మీద ఉన్న నంబర్లకు అర్థం ఏమిటి అనేది పరిశీలిస్తున్నట్లు చెప్పారు. ''ఈ కేసులను (చొరబాట్లకు సంబంధించిన కేసులను) చూసుకునే ఆపరేషన్స్ గ్రూప్ జమ్మూకశ్మీర్‌లో ఉంది. తాజా పరిణామం గురించి వారికి సమాచారం ఇచ్చాం. వారు కూడా ఈ అంశాన్ని పరిశీలిస్తున్నారు'' అని మిశ్రా తెలిపారు. జమ్మూకశ్మీర్‌లో గతంలో.. గూఢచర్యం కోసం ఉపయోగిస్తున్నట్లు చెప్తున్న పక్షులను పట్టుకున్నారు.

A pigeon suspected to have been trained by Pakistan for spying has been detained in Katuwa district of Jammu and Kashmir, the ANI news agency reported. The pigeon was caught near the fence on the international border between Pakistan and India and had a ring on it, police said.
