హత్య చేయగల భర్తలను ముందే పసిగట్టవచ్చు!

ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా 2017లో దాదాపు 30,000 మంది మహిళలను వారి ప్రస్తుత లేదా మాజీ జీవిత భాగస్వాములు హత్యచేశారు. భార్య కానీ, సహచరి కానీ.. తమ జీవిత భాగస్వాములను హత్య చేసే పురుషులు ''ఒక హత్యా క్రమాన్ని'' అనుసరిస్తారని నేరశాస్త్రం ప్రవీణులైన డాక్టర్ జేన్ మాంక్టన్ స్మిత్ చెప్తున్నారు. యూనివర్సిటీ ఆఫ్ గ్లోసెస్టర్‌షైర్‌లో లెక్చరర్‌గా పనిచేస్తున్న ఆమె బ్రిటన్‌లో 372 హత్యలను అధ్యయనం చేశారు. ఆ హత్యలన్నిటిలోనూ ఎనిమిది దశలుగా సాగిన ఒక హత్యా క్రమాన్ని గుర్తించారు. ఎవరైనా ఒక పురుషుడు తన జీవిత భాగస్వామిని హత్య చేయగలడనటానికి.. భౌతికంగా నియంత్రించే అతడి ప్రవర్తన కీలక సూచిక కావచ్చునని డాక్టర్ జేన్ పేర్కొన్నారు.

ఈ అధ్యయనంలో గుర్తించిన అంశాలు.. ప్రాణాలను కాపాడటానికి దోహదపడగలవని ఒక హతురాలి తండ్రి అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. పోలీసులు ఈ ఎనిమిది దశలను పసిగట్టగలిగితే చాలా హత్యలను నివారించవచ్చునని నిపుణులు భావిస్తున్నారు. జీవిత భాగస్వాముల చేతుల్లో హత్యకు గురవుతున్న వారిలో మహిళలు 80 శాతం పైగా ఉన్నారని.. అత్యధిక ఉదంతాల్లో హత్య చేసిన భాగస్వామి పురుషుడేనని డాక్టర్ జేన్ చెప్పారు.

ఈ అధ్యయనం కోసం.. హతురాలికి గతంలో కానీ, హత్య జరిగేనాటికి కానీ హంతకుడితో సంబంధాలు ఉన్న కేసులన్నిటినీ ఆమె నిశితంగా పరిశీలించారు. అలాగే పురుషులు.. తమ పురుష భాగస్వాముల చేతుల్లో హతమైన ఉదంతాలనూ పరిశీలించారు

హంతకులు అనుసరించినట్లు డాక్టర్ జేన్ గుర్తించిన ఎనిమిది దశలు ఇవీ...

1. జీవిత భాగస్వామిగా మారటానికి ముందు హంతకుడు వెంబడించిన, వేధించిన చరిత్ర ఉంటుంది
2. ఆకర్షణ చాలా వేగంగా సీరియస్ జీవిత భాగస్వామ్య బంధంగా మారుతుంది
3. ఈ బంధంలో భౌతిక నియంత్రణ ప్రధానంగా ఉంటుంది
4. హంతకుడి నియంత్రణను బలహీనపరిచే పరిణామం - ఉదాహరణకు ఆ బంధం ముగియటం లేదా హంతకుడు ఆర్థిక ఇబ్బందుల్లో పడటం

8. హత్య - హంతకుడు తన భాగస్వామిని హత్య చేస్తాడు, బాధితురాలి పిల్లలు తదితరులకు కూడా హాని చేయవచ్చు

ఈ ఎనిమిది దశల్లో హంతకుడు ఏదైనా ఒక దశ ఎక్కడైనా పాటించలేదంటే అది.. మొదటి దశ. అయితే.. హతులు - హంతకుల మధ్య పూర్వ సంబంధం లేకపోవటమే సాధారణంగా దీనికి కారణం. ''క్షణికావేశంలో అప్పటికప్పుడు హత్య చేశారనే మనం అనుకుంటూ వస్తున్నాం. కానీ అది నిజం కాదు'' అని డాక్టర్ జేన్ బీబీసీతో పేర్కొన్నారు. ''ఈ కేసులన్నిటినీ పరిశీలించటం మొదలుపెడితే.. వీటన్నిటిలో ప్రణాళికా రచన ఉంది.. ఒక సంకల్పం ఉంది. బలవంతపు నియంత్రణ ఉంది'' అని చెప్పారు. డాక్టర్ జేన్ పరిశోధనలో గుర్తించిన ఈ ఎనిమిద దశల హత్యా క్రమం గురించి పోలీసులకు తెలిసి ఉంటే.. పరిస్థితులు భిన్నంగా ఉండేవని అలైస్ రగల్స్ అనే యువతి తండ్రి క్లైవ్ రగల్స్ వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. ''అతడు వెంటపడటం, బలవంతంగా నియంత్రించటం జరిగింది. ఈ హెచ్చరిక సంకేతాలు ముందే కనిపించాయి'' అని చెప్పారు క్లైవ్ రగల్స్. ''నిరంతరం మెసేజ్‌లు పంపటం, ఎమోషనల్‌గా బ్లాక్‌మెయిల్ చేయటం - ఇటువంటివన్నీ అతడు ఐదో దశలో ఉన్నాడని స్పష్టంగా చెప్తున్నాయి. ఈ ఎనిమిది దశల హత్యా క్రమం గురించి అందరికీ తెలిస్తే.. దీని ఆధారంగా చర్యలు చేపడితే.. పరిస్థితులు మెరుగుపడతాయి. ప్రాణాలను కాపాడవచ్చు'' అని ఆయన అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు.

డాక్టర్ జేన్ తను గుర్తించిన ఈ హత్యా క్రమం గురించి బ్రిటన్ వ్యాప్తంగా న్యాయవాదులు, సైకాలజిస్టులు, పోలీసు అధికారులకు బోధించారు. ఆమె అధ్యయనాన్ని.. వయొలెన్స్ అగైన్స్ట్ విమెన్ జర్నల్‌లో కూడా ప్రచురించారు. ఈ ఎనిమిది దశల గురించి తెలుసుకున్న తర్వాత.. పోలీసులు హత్య చేయగల వారిని గుర్తించే వీలు పెరిగిందని డాక్టర్ జేన్ చెప్పారు. అలాగే.. బాధిత మహిళలు తాము ఎదుర్కొంటున్న పరిస్థితులను మరింత స్పష్టంగా వివరించగలుగుతున్నారని పేర్కొన్నారు. బాధితులు హింసాపూర్వక జీవిత బంధాల నుంచి క్షేమంగా బయటపడే మార్గాల విషయంలోనూ.. అసలు సన్నిహిత సంబంధాల్లో బలవంతపు నియంత్రణ కావాలని కోరుకోవటానికి కారణాలేమిటి అనే అంశంపైనా మరింత పరిశోధన జరగాలని డాక్టర్ జేన్ చెప్పారు.

Nearly 30,000 women were murdered by their current or former spouses in 2017 worldwide. Criminal expert Dr. Jane Monkton-Smith says men who murder their spouses "follow a pattern of murder." She is a lecturer at the University of Gloucestershire and studied 372 murders in Britain. In all of those killings, a murder sequence that lasted eight stages was identified. Dr. Jane states that physically controlling behavior may be a key indicator that a man can kill his or her spouse.

The factors identified in this study can help to save lives. Experts believe most killings could be avoided if the police were able to find these eight steps. More than 80 percent of women who are killed by spouses at the hands of their spouses are women.

For this study .. She has closely examined all the cases in which the murderer has been involved in the past or the time of the murder. As well as men .. they have also examined the shameful behavior in the hands of their male partners

Here are eight steps that Dr. Jane identified as being followed by murderers ...

1. There is a history of haunted, harassed history before becoming a spouse
2. Attraction can quickly become a serious life partner
3. Physical control is the key to this bond
4. The consequence of weakening the murderer's control - for example the ending of that bond or the murderer being in financial trouble
5. The intensification of the assassin's control moves, or escalates - such as chasing and threatening to commit suicide
6. Change in the mindset of the murderer - whether through retaliation or murder
7. Planning - Assassin buying weapons or looking for opportunities to find the victim alone
8. Murder - The murderer murders his partner, and the victim's children can be harmed

If the assassin does not follow any one of the eight stages, it is the first step. However, this is usually due to a lack of prior relationship between the murderers and murderers. '' We think they were murdered at the moment. But that's not true, '' Dr. Jane told the BBC. '' When you start to look at all these cases .. all of them are planned .. There is a will. There is compelling control, '' he said. Clive Ruggles, father of a young woman named Alice Ruggles, commented that if the police were aware of the eight-step murder pattern identified in Dr. Jane's research, the circumstances would have been different. '' He was chased and forced into control. These warning signs have appeared before, '' said Clive Ruggles. “Constantly sending messages, emotionally blackmailing - all these clearly state that he is in the fifth stage. If we know all about this eight step murder sequence .. If we act on it .. the situation will improve. It could save lives, '' he said.

Dr Jane has taught lawyers, psychologists and police officers all over Britain about the order of murder. Her study was also published in the Violence Against Women Journal. After learning about these eight steps, the police have been able to identify who could be murdered, says Dr. Jane. Also .. the affected women are able to more clearly describe the conditions they are facing. Dr Jane said further investigations into the ways in which victims are able to get out of violent life bonds and what causes them to seek coercive control over actual intimate relationships.
