24న భారత్‌లో 21 రోజుల పాటు లాక్‌డౌన్‌ విధిస్తున్నట్లు ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ ప్రకటించిన విషయం తెలిసిందే.
ఈ క్రమంలో మార్చి మొదటివారంతో పోలిస్తే..
మార్చి 30 నాటికి గృహహింస కేసుల సంఖ్య దాదాపు రెట్టింపు అయ్యింది. 111గా కేసుల సంఖ్య
257కు చేరిందని జాతీయ మహిళా కమిషన్ వెల్లడించింది. కాగా లాక్‌డౌన్‌ను సమర్థవంతంగా అమలు చేసే విధుల్లో పోలీసులు తలమునకలైన వేళ మహిళలపై అకృత్యాల సంఖ్య పెచ్చుమీరుతున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.
వేలాది మంది మహిళలు అత్యాచారాలకు గురవుతున్నా.. వారిలో కేవలం ఒక శాతం మంది కూడా ప్రస్తుత పరిస్థితుల్లో కూడా ఫిర్యాదు చేసేందుకు రావడం లేదని సమాచారం. అయితే ఇది కేవలం ఒక్క భారత్‌కే పరిమితమైన అంశం కాదు. ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా ఎంతో మంది అకృత్యాల బారిన పడుతున్నారని గణాంకాలు వెల్లడిస్తున్నాయి.
